The event took place in the Liverpool Medical Institution (LMI), a Grade II* listed building, situated opposite the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Hope Street quarter. We have held many conferences at LMI and they offer a high standard of facilities in a relaxed and professional setting. The building boasts an historic lecture theatre (1837) where the conference will take place. The entrance is to the rear of the building via the car park.

By Car:

At the end of the M62 follow the signs for the City Centre, Cathedrals and Universities (approximately 3 miles).

On coming down Brownlow Hill past the rear of the Metropolitan Cathedral (‘the wigwam’), turn left at the traffic lights onto Clarence Street then left at the next traffic lights onto Mount Pleasant. The LMI is opposite the front of the Metropolitan Cathedral. Continue through the traffic lights outside the LMI and turn almost immediately right by the Lloyds TSB into Arrad Street. The car park and entrance are through the gates on the right. However please note there is limited public car parking available on site.


By Train:

The nearest mainline train station is Liverpool Lime Street Station, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk or 5 minute cab drive from the LMI.
