Sites and Monuments Records and Historic Environment Records: EH research project for Heritage Protection Review/Reform (HPR)

English Heritage is directing a research programme on local Historic Environment Records Services (HERS) and how they might adapt to operate under HPR (Strand B of Local Delivery).  IHBC and , for archaeologists in local government, ALGAO, are participating in the research.  The Project Initiation Document, explaining the procedures proposed, is available here.
