IHBC West Midlands Branch CPD Event

19 June 2024 at Weston Park

Our June CPD event will be held on Wednesday, 19th June at Weston Park near Shifnal, Shropshire. We'll meet in 'The Snug', a private dining area next to the main restaurant.

The morning session will feature talks on the conservation of Registered Parks & Gardens, and how the now mandatory Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) impacts on heritage. After lunch, we'll visit the church and the Temple of Diana, with a talk by one of the Weston Park team.

If you haven't been to Weston Park before, you're in for a treat! As their website says, they're 'home to a world renowned art collection, a magnificent stately home, one epic Woodland Adventure Playground and 1,000 acres of glorious Capability Brown parkland for you to enjoy and explore.'

The Snug is just that - snug! - which means places are limited, so please book your ticket now to avoid disappointment. Prices are £15 for members and £20 for non-members, including lunch and tea/coffee throughout the day. Guests are more than welcome to attend. If you have special dietary requirements, please email us the specifics as soon as you've registered, so that we can ensure you'll be well looked after on the day.

Registration is at 9:30AM for a 10:00AM start.
You can book your place via Eventbrite here
