Elmbridge bid for the pilot Heritage project

• Funding was sought for a Heritage Consultant to develop and run this pilot with 5 project objectives

• Develop a programme to engage the local community on a range of conservation issues

• Develop volunteer capacity and skills through training to help produce CA Appraisals and to share their knowledge

• Produce CA Appraisals for key CAs with the community and conservation professionals

• Provide info for Heritage Counts for a regional database

• Appraise pilot and develop a “Blueprint” CA Appraisal framework for wider application
