What do we hope to achieve?

• Engagement, encouragement and some fun

• An ongoing and evolving programme for use in the other Elmbridge CAs and in other districts

• A framework that will encourage collaborative partnerships

• Clearly defined pro-active roles for prospective partners - local authority, local community and heritage professionals

• A programme to give consistency and integrity for different areas and user groups

• Emphasis on an evaluative and analytical approach [how and why] rather than the lengthy descriptive [what]

• Ways to manage peoples expectation, availability, skills, NIMBYism and cynicism
