Dave ChetwynDavid Chetwyn, is the RTPI's Planning Aid Manager for England. Previously he spent 17 years working in planning and urban regeneration in local government. He is also helped to develop and deliver training for CABE's Design and Change programme and the Civic Trust's Civic Societies Pathfinder, and has been part time adult education tutor for Keele University, teaching on 20th century architecture. His interests include music and playing electric guitar. Dave lives in Stoke-on-Trent and has a partner living in Liverpool

 CHAIR FINANCE AND RESOURCES COMMITTEE
Richard MorriceDr Richard Morrice, an architectural historian, has been an Inspector of Historic Buildings at English Heritage/DOE since 1982. He was Projects Officer between 1991 and 1995 and has been Secretary of IHBC since then. He is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London.

CHAIR OF EDUCATION TRAINING AND STANDARDS COMMITTEE
John PrestonJohn Preston, read architecture and art history at Cambridge University and is now Conservation and Design Officer with Cambridge City Council. As a member of the Education Committee he represents the Institute on CoTAC, on the Supervisory Board for the Register of Architects Accredited in Building Conservation, and on working groups developing NVQs. He is an external examiner for the Anglia and Nottingham conservation courses and is a printmaker and painter.

Michael KnightsMichael Knights has been Head of Conservation at Norfolk County Council for the past ten years. A planner by training he was formerly the Director of Heritage Brewery Museum at Borton-on-Trent and before that, conservation officer for East Staffordshire District Council. He has been IHBC Treasurer since 2002.
